The product review essay’s objective is to inform and influence customer decision-making using rhetorical strategies.Providing customers with appropriate information facilitates their ability to make educated purchasing decisions. Providing readers with a technical review of the product, which is evaluated utilizing various criteria. My product review essay was based on the Spigen Cryo Armor Phone CaseProduct, and I failed to provide readers with a description of the product, background information, regarding the innovation on the product, and supplied an assessment of the product’s features, which did not meet the assignment’s requirements. Furthermore, for potential future iterations or implementations of this project, I will fully know how to effectively execute a product review essay, understanding the requirements such essay should meet.
After receiving feedback on my product review essay, I discovered some significant flaws that restricted its effectiveness; failing to supply readers with a complete grasp of the Spigen Cryo Armor phone case. Specifically, I failed to discuss and describe the product’s components, dimensions, and inspiration, depriving readers of important insights into its design and development. Furthermore, I neglected beneficial discussion points such as alternative and predecessor developments, which may have offered useful comparison background for analyzing the phone case’s distinguishing characteristics. Furthermore, I realize that my description of the product’s characteristics mistakenly deviated into a promotional tone, jeopardizing the neutrality of my assessment.
Moving ahead, I understand the significance of giving readers a contextualized understanding of the product, including its design, development, and comparative perspective. I also acknowledge the need of maintaining a fair and objective tone throughout my assessment, concentrating on valuable insights rather than promotional rhetoric. By resolving these problems in future evaluations, I could encapsulate the full sphere of writing a product review essay.
